The Rib Saga!

For my sister's birthday, we smoked some ribs in my nephew's new smoker. We were practicing for Thanksgiving when we'll smoke a turkey.

I made a homemade dry rub to put on the ribs and mustard binds it to the meat (the mustard cooks away so you don't taste it).

Here is Josh messing with the smoker and the mesquite wood chips he was using.

Yep, it was smokin'.Here are the finished ribs. Look pretty good, don't they? We got the ribs from Castle's in Chase City. If you need any kind of meat, go there. The place is awesome!
My plate. Half a rack of baby back ribs, baked potato and baked beans. Check out the creepy face reflection in the knife!Kristy's Memphis-Style Rib Rub recipe:

2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp paprika
3/4 Tsp garlic powder
1-1/2 Tsp onion powder
